I’ve also been talking with some fascinating people: my July guests for the Cults, Culture & Coercion podcast have included Cryptocurrency expert Molly White, MLM survivor and psychotherapist Brandie Hadfield, and founder of CHILDUSA.org and noted human rights attorney and professor Marci Hamilton.
In this week’s episode of the podcast, 6,000 Images and No Idea It Was a Crime, I talk with forensic clinical psychologist Dr. Mary Riggs Cohen on why autistic people can become both the victims and the unwitting offenders of the online world and how bad actors deliberately target neurodivergent individuals, deliberately exploiting black-and-white thinking, the need for belonging, and past trauma. It’s important to note that instead of blaming the targeted individuals, we must expose how manipulators prey on human vulnerabilities.

Next week’s episode will feature Anthony Forte, a former member of the Korean doomsday cult, World Mission Society Church of God (WMSCOG), where he lived in an arranged marriage until his escape. We will then do ex-Shincheonji member Chris Vishoot, and ex Moonie Ingo Michehl, in a series on cults from Korea.
This week’s livestream will take place on Wednesday, July 29th, at 2 pm EDT; I will be discussing current news and answering viewer questions.
On Friday, I will be doing a livestream with special guest Rebecca Saltzburg, a former member of Chris Butler’s Science of Identity Foundation. This is the cult that Tulsi Gabbard, former Director of National Intelligence, was born into. Salzburg was top aide to Butler and Gabbard and has evidence that the cult has been deeply involved with China for decades. She left when she discovered minors were being sex trafficked, and there is suspicion that there might be direct links to the Epstein circle. Rebecca is a whistleblower and was featured in The Washington Post’s recent, year-long investigation into Tulsi Gabbard and Gabbard’s religious cult.

And last but not least, this past Sunday, I was interviewed on Times Radio’s “Catch Up” with Darryl Morris. Morris asked me to talk about The Cult of Trump with a focus on the recent 180-degree flip Laura Loomer made from calling Ukraine nazis to flying there to now support Ukraine. Ukraine Chabad Rabbi Azman was Loomer’s host and I have previously written about the Russia aligned cult Allatra. I am very suspicious of Loomer- a right wing extremist.
